MINUTES OF MEETING
In attendance were:
1. SJC Alumni Association Officers, 2010-2011 led by Pres. Claire Souza, Batch 76
2. Batch 81 officers, Judy T. Pazon, Tess Rivero & Annabelle Layug
3. Batch Presidents/Representatives
Call to Order
The meeting started at 6:15 at the new Student Lounge of St. Joseph College (SJC) and presided by Mrs. Imelda Lampazo, the incumbent HS Principal. Reading of the minutes of meeting of the Alumni Association last September 22 was made.

DISCUSSION OF THE AGENDA:
9. Batch Directory – Mrs. Lampazo requested each batch to submit to her the respective Batch Directory by December 16, 2010 for purpose of easy reference, dissemination and communication for alumni meetings and other activities
Grand Alumni Homecoming – Slated on March 19, 2011 with various activities lined up. All batches with year ending in 1 and 6 are jubilarians. Mrs. Lampazo said that in the USA, there is only one (1) batch in-charge in the preparation of the homecoming as the coordinator
While here in the Phils., since the current Alumni President come from batch 76, Mrs. Lampazo suggested that they (batch 76) lead the preparation for the grand alumni homecoming in March 2011
Some of the activities will be:
a. Motorcade pref
SJC Website – Mrs. Lampazo proudly announced that SJC has its own website that everybody can browse on it

She also said that those batches who would like to have link in the website are asked to just coordinate with the school. A team effort from all batches/alumni in order to come up with a

Organization of Officers – Mr. Jong Cortez suggested that all jubilarians should work together as a team and contribute in any way in order to attain the success of the affair
However, nonjubilarians should also be given tasks to be done so that assignments are distributed well to all concerned. Mr. Bong Cruz likewise suggested that each batches who are not jubilarians should assign their respective coordinators
Other Concerns:
Mrs. Lampazo announced that on Feb. 28, 2011, SJC will be visited by the PAASCU (Phil. Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities) officials for Level One Accreditation.

The agency will inspect the school’s facilities, laboratory, library and other areas if it complies with the standard to be categorized under Level 1. It is possible that alumni will be called for interview as part of the accreditation proc

Since there are no more topics, suggestions or recommendations for discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled on January 15, 2011.
