St. Joseph Olongapo Alumni Homecoming Madam Mel Tulio-Lampazo's mother passed away yesterday morning due to cardiac arrest, wake is at Madam Mel's residence in New Cabalan, interment tentatively scheduled on Thursday. We are planning to pay our last respect and condole with the bereaved family of Mam Mel tonight. We are inviting you to join us from 7pm to 11pm

      Award to be given to the biggest delegation and the most creative float
      - each batch is required to have their batch tarpaulin, the height of which is 1 meter and the width is 2 meters (it will be hanged/displayed at school quadrangle after the motorcade, thus uniformity in size is requested.) the design of tarp is included in criteria for judging the best float.
      - judging for best float will be done at Magsaysay Drive
      - attendance sheet will be distributed at Magsaysay Drive and submitted at SJS gate for quick verification
      - each batch will be acknowledged as they enter SJC quadrangle - don't forget to bring batch tarpaulin (participants need to dis-embark from their float due to space restriction inside campus.)
      Order of motorcade: first come first to go.

    • Edwin Piano suggestion: one of the things we need to do, is to distribute the task of inviting attendees to our alumni meeting. i have observed that out of expected 40 batches na lang (62 yrs na SJS) less than 10 batches are represented.

      Talked to Ernie Hernandez - man in charge at mayor's office to process motorcade applications.
      motorcade in the morning is allowed between 8am-11am only

      Meet with Col Aquino and Officer Musngi regarding suggested routes of motorcade

      possible starting/assembly areas are
      Gordon Avenue
      Magsaysay Drive (lead at Unity fountain)
      East Tapinac Oval Track (needs to be mentioned at letter and coordinated with YMCA)

      The assembly area, route, date and time of motorcade should be finalized during Jan 29 meeting so that formal letter can be sent to the mayor's office.
      ? will it help to reward the most creative float and the biggest delegation ?
