Goals

During the SJC Strategic Planning held 26-27 April 2011 at SJC AVR, each sector were tasked to set goals for the next three years, we came up with the following:
(its still up for adoption by the SJSAA BOT, we are still open for suggestions)

Within a 3-year period, SJSAA intends to:
1. Triple its membership
2. Double the scholarship beneficiaries
3. Officially recognize sub-organizations of alumni according to batch and geographical locations (i.e. SJSAA-USA, SJSAA-Canada, SJSAA-Middle East, SJSAA- Europe, Sulyap, Salamisim, Shield, etc)
4. Triple its funds through the following activities:
a. Alumni Homecoming
b. Alumni King and Queen
c. Bingo Socials
d. Memberships
5. Update the database and utilize tracking system
6. Provide placement services to members and their dependents
7. Provide continuing education and training to alumni and their dependents
8. Give out Distinguished Alumni Awards
9. Utilize a working office equipped with computer, internet, telephone, radio communication, etc.

Goals & to do list

  • St. Joseph Olongapo Alumni Homecoming
    GOALS

    1. at least double membership and double collection
    2. start the SJSAA scholarship program
    3. to be an officially accredited NGO of LGU

    TO DO

    1. Update SEC Registration, submit amended by-laws, request for replacement of lost SEC Registration, submit General Information Sheet, BOT Resolutions and financial statements

    2. Submit documents to sangguniang panlungsod for accreditation of SJSAA

    3. open separate bank account intended for scholarship fund

    4. check SJSAA account at Allied Bank

    5. coordinate with US based alumni and send official SJSAA representative to the upcoming SJS reunion in USA

    ACCOMPLISHMENTS

    1. Amended Constitution and By-Laws adopted during general assembly

    2. Institutionalized election process

    3. Re-designed SJSAA ID card and came up with a Gold Card

    4. Re-activated dormant bank account

    5. Re-opened the alumni office

    6. Established websites
