Earlier this afternoon, we visited Joey JB Baluyot's dad, Mang Fred at their place in New Cabalan.
The members of SJSAA Olongapo board received a very warm welcome (we had pancit and beer - sabi kasi ng erpat ni Joey yon daw ang sekreto ng pagiging young looking nya... kaya beer pa!) More photos in this link
SJSAA US chapter sent the initial P17k for the alumni scholarship fund. This was the result of the intensified fund raisers sprearheaded by SJS Batch 1981 such as the Shindig Jam Session, Cosmic Bowling Fun, and SJS Golf Event.
The officers and members of SJSAA Olongapo wishes to extend its deepest appreciation to the efforts being exerted by US based alumni led by Batch 81 (this year's host of SJS 2011 Grandreunion in Pechanga) for the worthy projects of the association. We would be remiss if we don't mention Joey's organizing skill and sheer dedication for our cause, and fellow alumni's unselfish participation which led to the success of our endeavors.
We are requesting everyone to actively participate in the alumni's upcoming activities:
- Bingo Social this coming Saturday 14 May 2011 starting 5pm at SJC Social Hall
- Grand Reunion Celebration on 8/6/2011 at Pechanga
